About This Rhetorical Life

This Rhetorical Life was created by graduate students in the Composition and Cultural Rhetoric program at Syracuse University.

B. López is a PhD student in the Composition and Cultural Rhetoric program at Syracuse University. They are an instructor and writing consultant for the Writing Studies, Rhetoric, and Composition department. They received their M.A. in Rhetoric and Writing Studies at San Diego State University and their B.A. in English at UC Berkeley. They are from Southern California specifically from the Inland Empire. B.’s research interests are the following: Queer archives, sound studies, protest rhetoric, gender and sexuality studies, multicultural rhetoric, and popular culture. During their free time, they enjoy spending time with loved ones (including their cat), exploring different food spots, and watching movies.
Ben Kuebrich is an assistant professor at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches writing and journalism courses. He is also the faculty advisor for WCU’s student newspaper, The Quad. For the last twelve years, Ben has been organizing with a variety of social movements and has written about a few of them in publications. He likes telling dad jokes and playing music with friends and family.
